Blue and Gold Awards Ceremony & Dinner


Date:  24 February 2013
Location:  Morgan School Cafeteria
UNIFORM:  Class A shirts, ball caps, neckties

Itinerary:
    1030-1200:  Set up raffle tables, food tables, drinks, coffee
    1200: Parents and scouts arrive, $15/family door ticket, for door prize         
    1215: Opening ceremonies, Sliver Dolphin Drill Team for flag ceremony
    1230: Welcome speech (Cub Master & Chairman)
    1245: History of Scouting (Sean Grey)
    1255: Silver Dolphin Drill Team main presentation    
    1310: Rev says Grace, then Lunch served
    1315: Raffle ticket sales
    1345: Scouting Leaders in Society speech (Bill Loth)
    1400: Awards Ceremony for each Den (Chairman and Cub Master calls up each Den Leader/scouts)
    1430: Raffle & Silent Auction drawing, dessert served
    1500-1600:  Hip Hop Dance Lessons, while everyone cleans up dinner table
    1600-1700:  Cleanup


Pack 55 will bring:
    1.  Cups/plates, utensils, serving spoons, napkins, paper towels
    2.  Coffee Urn, coffee, sugar, creamer, extension cord
    3.  Condiments, salt/pepper, butter, salad dressing
    4.  Dessert, cookies
    5.  Chafing wire racks, sterno
    6.  2 beverage coolers for drinks, ice cooler for bottled water
    7.  Table cloth (plastic rolls)
    8.  Public announcing system
    9.  Hand sanitizer, trash bags

Each Den will bring:
    1.  Appetizer for your Den's table
    2.  Theme gift basket for the raffle table:
            Tigers=Movie Night Basket
            Wolves=Game Night Basket
            Bears= Lego Basket
            Webelos I/II=Sports Basket

Cost:  $15/family.  Each scout will be a door prize raffle ticket.  If more than one scout per family, the total cost is still $15 for the entire family, but each scout in that family will get a ticket.  The door prize will be a $50 valued item for the winning scout.  The remaining $ will offset the cost of the caterer.
